Thanks to the generosity of the McConnell Foundation and Brian Sindt — and cooperation with the Forest Service — the relatively new Foundation Trail is awaiting your boots, tires or hooves!
This mile long trail is a part of the Gateway Trail network and connects gravel Road 40N88X with My Trail. It can be used to enjoy a new loop at Gateway, or simply to cut out the steep climb to the North Gateway Crossing as one delves into the heart of the Gateway trails. The McConnell Foundation made their land available for this trail, while Brian did a masterful job of constructing the trail and funding the signage. Here’s a link to a map of this new trail:
