MSTA President Joe Wirth Featured in Redding Record Searchlight

Noted Dunsmuir resident and writer Tim Holt recently wrote an excellent piece in the Redding Record-Searchlight featuring the many outstanding achievements that Mount Shasta Trail Association president Joe Wirth has accomplished in recent years, including recent improvements on the Lake Siskiyou Trail, the newly opened Spring Hill Trail, among others.

Here’s a bit of what the article says:

The latest addition to the [Lake Siskiyou] trail is a gleaming new bike and pedestrian bridge across an inlet on the lake’s northeast side. With this major gap in the trail filled, Wirth is focused on another nagging problem. A short stretch of the trail goes through the Lake Siskiyou campground along the lake’s south shore.
