A group of volunteers and Forest Service employees spent Thursday September 10th improving the heavily used foot trail from the Bunny Flat trailhead to Horse Camp and beyond. The effort was led by MSTA board member John Harch and USFS climbing ranger Nick Meyers. The work included the cleaning of existing waterbars, construction of new waterbars, keeping the trail to a reasonable width, and maintaining the outslope in specific areas. Work was also done in the Spring Hill area — above Horse Camp and Olberman’s Causeway — where rocks were used to improve the trail tread . Thank you volunteers and Forest Service!
