The Gateway Trail is really beautiful right now. The thimbleberry is high and lush, and the berries are ripe. Brush has been recently cut back so the hiking and biking are mostly unobstructed. The Shasta lilies have popped, and some still remain. The attached photo show the lilies at the bottom of My Trail, where it meets Tunnel Trail. The swallowtails are also abundant.
