MSTA Board Roster Update: Paul Skilbeck

It’s our pleasure to belatedly welcome a new member to the board of the Mount Shasta Trail Association, as of May 12, 2025.

London-born Paul Skilbeck has had a lifelong career in outdoor recreation management and communications in the USA, Europe, and Australia. He has studied mountain bike facilities around the world, and provided logistics advice to top-level event organizers in three continents. Paul founded the International Mountain Bike Press Association, has worked as the website editor for the International Cycling Union, contributed to the Online Results and Information Services project of the International Olympic Committee, and served as a founding advisor to the National Interscholastic Cycling Association in the USA. He has competed in bicycle races on just about every surface, and has a passion for long-distance bicycle touring.

Paul is helping MSTA improve its online presence, marketing efforts, and social media activities. He is pictured at right below with Mark Derby installing signs for trails in the Learning Zone near the Nordic Center. That’s right, he does trail work, too!
