The Mount Shasta Trail Association is excited to show off some new trails and the Shasta Nordic Center is excited up show off their new lodge. Why not combine the two and check another trail off your 2026 Mount Shasta Trail Challenge!
Huckleberry Trail is a brand new trail perfect for hiking, biking and even horseback riding. These new trails were opened late last year after months of finish work by the hard work of trail crew volunteers.
Hopefully this snow will arrive as promised so why not check this trail off on cross country skis. Just check in at the new Nordic Center Lodge and they will give you a Winter trails map. There are even some upcoming beginner classes. Note – there is a reasonable fee to use the professionally groomed winter trails of the Nordic center.
